Seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten werden die Dokumentarfotografie Förderpreise der Wüstenrot
Stiftung im Museum für Photographie gezeigt. Aus Anlass des 40. Museumsjubiläums
präsentiert die Ausstellung ehemalige Preisträgerinnen und Preisträger mit Arbeiten zur
Thematik von Herkunft und Familienleben: Espen Eichhöfer, Verena Jaekel, Birte Kaufmann
und Maziar Moradi.

Zur Begrüßung sprechen Regine von Monkiewitsch, 1. Vorsitzende Museum für Photographie
Braunschweig e.V., Dr. René Hartmann, Wüstenrot Stiftung, und Barbara Hofmann-Johnson,
Leiterin Museum für Photographie Braunschweig und Kuratorin der Ausstellung.

Anschließend an die Begrüßung lädt das Museum zu einem Jubiläums-Umtrunk.

For more than two decades, the Documentary Photography Awards of the Wüstenrot
Foundation have been shown at the Museum für Photographie. On the occasion of the
museum’s 40th anniversary the exhibition presents former prizewinners with works on the
theme of origin and family life: Espen Eichhöfer, Verena Jaekel, Birte Kaufmann and Maziar
Moradi.

Regine von Monkiewitsch, 1st Chairwoman of the Museum für Photographie Braunschweig e.V.,
Dr. René Hartmann, Wüstenrot Foundation, and Barbara Hofmann-Johnson, Director of the
Museum für Photographie Braunschweig and curator of the exhibition, will give welcoming speeches.

Following the welcoming address, the museum invites you to an anniversary drink.

Sonntags findet eine öffentliche Führung durch die aktuelle Ausstellung statt. Im Eintrittspreis
enthalten. Anmeldung nicht erforderlich.

There is a public guided tour of the current exhibition on Sundays. Included in the admission
price. Registration not required.
