Die Gruppenausstellung ‚Book_Spaces‘ stellt Buchprojekte aus unterschiedlichen Kulturräumen und Kontexten vor,
die das Medium als ein explizit partizipatives und demokratisches verstehen. Die Künstler:innen betrachten das Buch
nicht als singuläres Objekt, sondern übersetzen es mithilfe performativer oder installativer Praktiken in den musealen
und städtischen Raum. Im Zusammenwirken unterschiedlicher Medien wie Film, Sound, Text, Skulptur, Zeichnung und
Performance mit der Fotografie werden die Komplexität der verhandelten Themen und multiple Perspektiven hierauf
sichtbar gemacht.

The group exhibition ‚Book_Spaces‘ presents book projects from different cultural spaces and contexts, that understand
the medium as an explicitly participatory and democratic one. The artists do not regard the book as a singular object,
but rather place it in the museum and urban space with the aid of performative or installative practices. In the interaction
of different media such as film, sound, text, sculpture, drawing, and performance with photography their multiple perspectives
are made visible.
