Das Museum f\u00fcr Photographie Braunschweig pr\u00e4sentiert in Kooperation mit der W\u00fcstenrot Stiftung die Arbeitsergebnisse der Dokumentarfotografie F\u00f6rderpreise 11 und setzt damit die langj\u00e4hrige Ausstellungskooperation zu diesem wichtigen Nachwuchsf\u00f6rderpreis fort. Mit der Ausstellung kommen methodisch vielf\u00e4ltige Arbeiten einer jungen Generation von Fotograf*innen nach Braunschweig, die sich mit den politischen und sozialen Bediungungen und Ver\u00e4nderungen unserer Welt auseinandersetzen.<\/p>\n

Die Multimediainstallationen, Filmprojekte und Portraitserien von Susanne Hefti, Alina Schmuch<\/strong> und ihrer Projektpartnerin Franca Scholz, Andrzej Steinbach<\/strong> und Malte Wandel<\/strong> besch\u00e4ftigen sich mit dr\u00e4ngenden Fragen unserer Zeit. Im Fokus stehen Geschichte und Gegenwart der Migrationsbewegungen, politische und sozio\u00f6konomische Umbr\u00fcche des 20. Jahrhunderts.<\/p>\n

Der Dokumentarfotografie F\u00f6rderpreis der W\u00fcstenrot Stiftung ist der bedeutendste Nachwuchspreis f\u00fcr Dokumentarfotografie in Deutschland. Er richtet sich an Fotografinnen und Fotografen, die sich mit Themen der realen Lebenswelt besch\u00e4ftigen und mit zeitgen\u00f6ssischen Mitteln die Definition des Abbildungscharakters der Fotografie reflektieren.<\/p>\n
