In light of current political, economic, and socio-cultural changes, our coexistence faces new challenges, which we can observe in everyday life with varying effects. This year's members' exhibition of the Museum of Photography Braunschweig e.V. addresses these themes and brings together photographic and filmic works from a total of 40 members. These "sideways glances" can signify both positive attention to one another and skeptical observation of our fellow human beings and other cultures or social contexts. The photographs and films present their own contribution to observation and positioning, as well as suggestions for metaphorical and visual interpretations.

Alongside the exhibition, publications and editions relating to recent and upcoming exhibitions by Ute Behrend, Irmel Kamp, Alwin Lay, Ute Mahler, Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili, Hartmut Neumann, Martina Sauter and Morgaine Schäfer will be shown.
