The group exhibition "Framing Identity" is a photographic exploration by and with Generation Y, illuminating aspects of the lives of people born between the early 80s and the late 90s. The characteristics attributed to this generation are currently the subject of much discussion in academic literature and other media. The exhibition "Framing Identity" addresses the question of what motivates members of Generation Y today and offers a contemporary photographic perspective on their search for identity and existing role models. Their work focuses on the exploration of self-image, personal identity, and the drawing attention to and questioning of socially assigned roles, both in personal, familial, and political contexts.
