Albrecht Fuchs: Album. Portraits 1989-2020

With his objective yet sensitive portrait photographs of international artists from different generations, Albrecht Fuchs (born 1964 in Bielefeld, lives in Cologne) has been a highly esteemed colleague for many years, both by his subjects and by those he portrays. His portraits are taken in studios, outdoors, and in private and other settings. In addition to the portraits, the exhibition also features a small selection of artwork by the artists he has photographed, as well as magazine work by Albrecht Fuchs.

In addition to Albrecht Fuchs' photographic works, the exhibition features works by several artists whom he has portrayed. These include works by John Baldessari, Natalie Czech, Roe Ethridge, Margarete Jakschik, Annette Kelm, Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili, Johanna von Monkiewitsch, Thomas Ruff, Franz West, Christopher Williams, and Johannes Wohnseifer.
