This project continues a series of studies designed to explore how an object such as a Russian drawing pin (subsequently referred to as ?pin ?) exists under various circumstances.
The preceding projects, namely, the Album for Pins 1 and Album for Pins 2 of 1994, aimed to create a family metaalbum in different historical situations, the main characters being represented by drawingpin individuals.
In the respective case, the pin is an object in the work of famous artists adhering to modernism and post-modernism and ranging from Picasso to Koons. On the one hand, this is a game aimed at creating a mythology of the ?pin?, an object favored by modernists. On the other hand, this is my tribute to the wellknown artists and their works, my contribution to the creation of the Contemporary Pin Art Museum. The project was implemented using studio photography, manipulated shots, montage and other photographic techniques and applications. The end result comprises 41 works each measuring 50 x 60.
