We wanted to create a portrait of our generation, to "catch" the face of that generation - here in Bulgaria now, at the end of the 20 th century and the millennium.

We felt the need to paint a "passing picture" of our contemporaries, how they look, how they dress, what their faces express. As part of the generation of 20 - 30 -year-olds, we were striving to achieve an "autoreflection" of our "identity."
